About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Business Development for its Air & Space Force Solutions business area. The successful candidate will be a key executive responsible for driving the organization's strategic growth objectives as a Systems Integrator. This role involves developing a deep understanding of customer needs, creating and leading capture strategies, and managing a team of business development professionals. The Vice President will be tasked with growing the opportunity pipeline, leading the pursuit of key opportunities, and maintaining a high capture rate. Essential skills include the ability to identify and leverage important customer relationships, a background in leading and winning large contracts, and a strong knowledge of systems integration, IT services, and related technical fields.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline, a minimum of 12 years of relevant business development experience, and a proven track record in leading and growing businesses within the defense and intelligence community. The role requires a candidate with direct experience in the United States Air Force or a highly comparable environment, and a background in leading and growing intelligence services, DoD services, or solutions businesses. The ideal candidate will have a technical or business Master's degree, experience in military education, and the ability to hold a TS/SCI level clearance. Responsibilities also include participating in bid decisions, establishing marketing strategies, and managing business development budgets. The Vice President will be expected to have excellent communication skills, the ability to lead large teams, and a strong background in solution selling and new market development.
