As our VP, Business Development Leader, you will…
Partner with the VP, Business Development Leader, to contribute to the company's profitable growth by developing an overall growth strategy. This includes identifying the target market, creating a compelling story/value proposition, and packaging the functional service offerings.
Be Accountable and Responsible
Assist with managing the overall marketing activities within the West region including the company’s digital presence, PR, events, CRM, and influencer relations
Generate a healthy pipeline of leads for MERGE, and nurture them into qualified opportunities
Support new business proposals within the West region (e.g. RFPs, capability presentations, pricing submissions) and solutions (e.g. pitches and orals)
Support major client contract negotiations within the West region
Conduct research for insights into market demand and competitive activities
Drive and oversee Account-based Marketing (ABM) efforts
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, and/or other sales and marketing platforms preferred
These are the qualifications we’re looking for
10+ years of experience in business, with 10+ years concentrated in agency growth roles, specifically in Health Plans
Bachelor's degree, MBA, or equivalent business experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated effectiveness in the ability to ensure quality client service
Routinely demonstrate a thorough understanding of the advertising industry
Possess credibility in the presence of the client
Strong presentation skills with an engaging and trusted presence
