The Opportunity:
You’ve been managing high-priority accounts with clients like heads of agency and CMO’s. You have experienced major wins and delivered bad news in high-pressure situations. You love the business of advertising and achieving clients’ marketing objectives. You are the advocate of Brkthru’s interests in this partnership. Critical to success in this role is your entrepreneurial spirit and desire to grow the account. You are ready to channel your decade or more of experience to overseeing account teams, growing client accounts, campaign management, and reporting with the fastest growing, independent digital advertising company in the world. You pride yourself on building trust and strong relationships with clients and your team. You will be the leader of a team of up to seven, composed of members from our Media, Client Services, and Client Success teams.
This is a fully remote role with client and internal travel required as needed
Responsibilities:
Accountable for retention and growth of key account(s).
Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of a large account. You see everything while not impeding the workflow of the day-to-day business. Control the conversation with the client
Pitch for business. Lead the charge in powering the RFP process
Collaborate with the Strategy team and Leadership on proposal development and renewal strategies
Ownership and preparation of RFP’s, renewal presentations, campaign reporting
Oversee campaign prep, launches, and QA processes
Lead client communications and meetings
Collaborate with Client Success leadership on targeting and winning revenue growth opportunities:
Budget shifts to digital channels
Participate with Director of Client Success in discussions with client to generate new business from them or their clients and regularly soliciting feedback from clients
Lead team on reporting needs
Lead planning and strategy sessions with client. Collaborate with senior leaders (VP+) to get necessary information/input needed to win business
Regular on-site visits with the client. Coordinating of executive business reviews (EBRs)
Requirements
10 years of progressive leadership of large accounts with proven ability to proactively grow, shape and manage large accounts
2+ years of experience in digital marketing, specifically with paid and/or programmatic media
Storytelling mentality. Develop the narrative for campaign performance and weave improvements in KPI’s into the story. Make the data come to life and coach your team on how to do the same.
Tactful and diplomatic
Partners well with team members, trusted senior client partner, providing consistent strategic advice
Demonstrate exceptional organizational, problem solving, and customer service skills
Proven ability to work independently and multi-task.
Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
Strong negotiation skills
