Position Summary The Key Account Manager Northeast is a critical member of the Tampico East Sales Team who is responsible for managing all aspects of the business at assigned major accounts. This includes generating new business, developing, and executing strategic annual plans, reporting market intelligence, and maintaining positive customer satisfaction at the headquarters and the store level. This position is responsible for managing price/package planning and forecasting as well as ensure consistent and timely communication with the customer and licensee partners. Responsibilities Developing annual strategic growth plans aimed at increasing share and driving strategically important corporate objectives at assigned major key accounts & distributors
Conduct business review with accounts on a regular basis to evaluate sales and market share growth, promotional lift and recommend additional programs to achieve full year volume and share objectives
Develop relationships with key account field merchandisers to execute both headquarter and in-store display programs
Create sales sheets and surveys to communicate upcoming activity to field and licensee personnel
Increase shelf distribution, POS placement, and displays within assigned accounts
Manage promotional spending and planning
Compile and communicate Tampico concentrate product needs based on sales projections by licensee
Occasionally fill an out of stock or build a display in a store
Qualifications 3 – 5 years of major key account experience required; 1+ years of CPG sales and/or merchandising experience a plus
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in an unstructured, ever changing environment
Ability to multitask and have flexibility while handling multiple customer accounts
Strong attention to detail, organizational and follow-up skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of working with Demand Tec, SV Harbor and Power BI
Remote position that requires the ability to be in the field 40% of the time
Must reside in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut.
