The Company is seeking a VP, ISV/VAR Business Development to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the ISV/VAR sales channel, meeting management's expectations, and driving aggressive sales growth. This role involves recruiting, training, and managing sales agents, engaging with partners, and attending regional shows to recruit new business. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, highly motivated, and have a strong knowledge of the credit card industry. They must be adept at prospecting, making outbound calls, and managing the onboarding relationship with new partners. Additionally, the role requires the ability to identify and resolve ISV/VAR related issues, as well as the skills to collaborate with marketing and update product content for various campaigns.Applicants for the VP, ISV/VAR Business Development position at the company should have a college degree and a minimum of 5 years of related business experience in the credit card industry, with a specific focus on merchant services and payment sales. The role demands a professional with excellent client relationship skills, a proven track record in sales growth, and the ability to make recommendations on sales and marketing strategies. The candidate must be proficient in Windows-based computer applications and possess strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. A positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are also essential.
