About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President of Business Development to lead the launch of a new precision medicine product line. This role is pivotal in driving the integration of genomic data into patient care and public health decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, maintaining a target list of medical groups, generating and qualifying leads, and closing complex, multi-million-dollar deals. As part of the role, the Regional VP will also be expected to build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and work with the CRM and analytics tools to track and improve sales performance continually.Candidates for the Regional Vice President of Business Development position should have a Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in enterprise healthcare, or a related field, is required, with a proven track record of building and scaling sales initiatives. The role demands strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to negotiate and close deals with C-suite executives. Experience in genomics, population health, and Salesforce is a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at discussing strategic programs with healthcare executives, have a background in healthcare strategic challenges, and be able to quickly learn and represent relevant scientific and clinical topics.
