Heavy Haul Sales Representative (Remote)

Our client is adding to their team! They are looking to add a Logistics Sales Representative with experience with open deck equipment, project freight, and heavy haul with a desired, but not required, pre-existing book of business.

Job Type:  Full-time/ Work from home

Responsibilities: Manage and grow your own book of business, a current book of business is desired.

Generate and conduct sales calls to generate new business and maintain and develop clients.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal & external.

Network with potential customers.

Possess a general understanding of various types of open deck trucking equipment.

Understand freight pricing with the ability to calculate pricing for over dimensional freight.

Load entry (Windows based system).

Experience: 1-3 years’ experience with Open Deck, Project Freight, and Heavy Haul.

Bachelor's Degree or requisite experience.

Experience with direct customer engagement.

Experience with load characteristics and manifests.

Working knowledge of Microsoft products, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.

Working knowledge of dispatch and booking systems.

Proven problem solving and decision-making expertise.

Possess strong negotiation and supervisory skills.

Strong communication, judgement and interpersonal abilities.

Attention to detail.

Strong work ethic with a desire to succeed.

Takes initiative, self-motivated.

Works well on a team & individually.

This position offers a competitive base salary.
