Essential Responsibilities
As an Accounting Manager you will:
Oversee daily accounting operations.
Driving month-end close processes including journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statement compilation
Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of professional accounting staff with varied experience levels.
Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Implement best practices and contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.
Present financial information to executive management, providing insights and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate and facilitate external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation.
Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: To be considered:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Must have a strong knowledge of multi-ledger & multi-divisional accounting including intercompany accounting across a multitude of legal entities including multi-currency, and international transactions.
Experience supervising accounting staff.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proven experience in financial reporting, journal entries, and fixed assets management
A minimum of five (5) years in a service-oriented business.
