BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - WA
Murray Engineering is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the growth and profitability in our Perth based Division.
About the role:
WA location (Pinjarra and Perth based)
Travel within work required – 50%+ on-road
Visits to mining and industrial clients around the West Coast
Specialising in BD for our Electrical, Fabrication, Pumping and Associated Equipment divisions
Salary based position
A national-based role considered for the right candidate willing to travel
Role duties may include, but are not limited to;
Negotiate and establish mutually beneficial partnerships to drive long-term business growth
Visit both existing and potential clients on a regular basis to maintain and establish relationships, throughout the West Coast area
Lead the development of sales strategies that will position the company for significant future business in large accounts or specific markets.
Attend compulsory scheduled fortnightly Sales and Marketing meetings – reporting on Key Performance metrics relating to BD efforts
Produce and maintain annual sales plans for responsible sales areas.
Adapt any marketing strategies to keep up-to-date with market trends and conditions
Ensure prompt responses to client queries and requests, in order to maintain clear expectations and avoid perceived obstacles around product and service sales.
The successful applicant must have:
Reside in WA and be willing and able to travel
UG Hard rock mining equipment & service sales experience (with West Coast clients)
Electrical Mining Background (Preferred)
An established client base in the relevant industry areas
Excellent interpersonal manner
Financial knowledge around information and reporting
Proven track record in establishing and maintaining client relationships
Strong communication skills with ability to listen
