The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding the client base, and contributing to the company’s growth in the construction and IT sectors. Your role will involve strategic planning, market analysis, and fostering relationships with potential and existing clients to drive business success.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement growth strategies to acquire new clients and projects, focusing on utility work and expanding into Data Center construction.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the construction and IT sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Collaborate with the project management and operations teams to ensure that client needs are met and projects are delivered successfully.
Represent our client at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings.
Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners.
Work closely with the senior management team to align business development strategies with the company’s overall objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development in the construction industry
Strong understanding of the construction management, general contracting, and facility management disciplines.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proven track record of achieving business development targets and driving growth.
Knowledge of current maintenance, facility asset management practices, and sustainability objectives is a plus.
