Jo b Summary:
Valor is seeking a Recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing organization. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a small team environment focused on building Valor's team structure and team management tools.
Responsibilities: Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g., social media and professional platforms like LinkedIn)
Draft detailed and accurate job descriptions
Assists with job posting and advertisement processes
Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
Screen incoming resumes and application forms
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person)
Prepare and distribute assignments and numerical, language and logical reasoning tests
Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers and/or VP of People
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications: 5 years of sourcing experience
1-3 years of experience in recruiting for finance roles
A Bachelor's degree
Detail oriented with stellar verbal and written communication skills
High sense of reliability, initiative, and ownership
Experience with sourcing techniques
Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
