About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regional VP/Sales Manager for the East Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall sales performance and leadership in the region, including the training and development of the sales team. This role requires ensuring continued sales growth, market share, and profitability by enhancing existing dealer and customer relationships, as well as identifying and targeting new distribution opportunities. The candidate should be adept at providing strong direction in sales forecasts, managing discounts, and improving the company's profit margin. Extensive travel to visit distributors and customers is a key component of the position.Applicants for the Regional VP/Sales Manager role at the company should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent specialty, with a preference for internal candidates. A minimum of 12 years' experience in commercial or industrial sales, including at least 5 years in a management role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in a related industry, such as the equipment rental industry, and a demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships. Key skills for this position include transparency, integrity, operational expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. The role demands a leader who can inspire trust, create a vision, and execute strategy to achieve business objectives.
