Desktop/Tech Support II
Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite)
Shift: M-F 8-5 pm
Duration: Long-term contract
Requirements:
Requires experience using ticketing systems and writing technical support reports and documentation.
2+ years of experience.
Description: Provides first level user support by troubleshooting hardware and software problems for desktop and laptop computers.
Configures workstations for new users and upgrades existing equipment and software.
Sets up and maintains network and telecommunication systems.
Troubleshoots LAN, server and connectivity issues.
Utilizes ticketing system, when necessary.
Re-images computers, performs data migrations and restorations, and conducts remote problem solving as needed.
Troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software and voice/data communication systems issues.
Escalates calls when appropriate.
Writes concise, informative service tickets.
Follows up on all tickets in a timely manner and pursues issues through to resolution.
