Job Summary
OnSolve is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced sales professional who wants to work in a fun, competitive, and consultative sales environment. We are seeking a sales professional with a proven track record in high-level, consultative federal sales. As a Federal Account Executive on this team, you will be responsible for generating and pre-qualifying leads, securing new business opportunities, and closing business. This role is responsible for securing profitable new federal business through relationships with multiple contacts within federal government agencies. The Account Executive will manage all aspects of accounts within their pipeline, including but not limited to opportunity identification, pre-sales planning, negotiation, and deal execution.
Responsibilities
• Conduct initial sales meetings with key decisions makers to identify pain points and needs.
• Meet or exceed individual performance objectives outlined and communicated on a monthly basis.
• Responsible for qualifying opportunities utilizing a collaborative and consultative selling approach.
• Provide product demonstrations onsite and via web demo.
• Work directly with federal agencies, government integrators, and federal Value-Added Resellers (VARs) in understanding their needs, requirements, and implementation schedules.
• Conduct the research required to understand agency, technology, and product requirements and develop a compelling value proposition.
• Create and maintain a sales pipeline with detailed information as to the number of potential and qualified prospects/opportunities, status, and next steps.
• Support management with accurate forecasting, negotiating, and financial planning in designated accounts.
• Assume the lead role in the preparation and delivery of customer presentations.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the complete line of products/services and customer use cases.
• Maintain prospect contact information notes, activities, and all pertinent information in Salesforce.com.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related discipline preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in sales. SaaS sales and federal government sales are a strong plus.
• Proven understanding of consultative solution selling and lead prospecting experience.
• Self-starter, goal-oriented, able to work with a high degree of autonomy and deliver measurable results.
• Work effectively with other members of the sales departments, management, and marketing teams.
• Proficiency with sales automation systems such as Salesforce.com, discover.org, and Salesloft.
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to close opportunities and has verifiable performance history in meeting or exceeding quota.
• Strong lead networking/prospecting experience.
