The Role The Product Marketing Manager role will work to ensure our offerings are correctly positioned in the market by producing sharp product messaging, strategizing and executing GTM assets and materials, and collaborating cross-functionally to enable Feedonomics, BigCommerce, and our partner organizations to drive revenue and industry leadership.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-starting individual that has in-depth knowledge of the ecommerce industry and technology ecosystem, as well as a proven track record of producing stellar marketing content and copy, managing successful GTM programs and initiatives, and serving as an effective cross-functional project manager to drive real growth.
The Responsibilities Be the resident expert on the Feedonomics product, customers, prospects, competitive landscape, and industry trends to collaborate on global GTM strategies, product positioning, narrative, internal communications, and marketing activations
Continuously monitor and document technology trends, ecosystem developments, and competitive moves that influence customer needs to guide market positioning and influence the product roadmap
Write, edit, and produce compelling product messaging and positioning across content and collateral for internal and external audiences, to be used across multiple touch points, including our website, PR / comms, and sales
Be a go-to-market expert: work with teams across departments (marketing, product, sales, partnerships) to ensure alignment and successful execution of assets, campaigns, and activations with minimal guidance
Enable our internal teams and partners by identifying and helping create effective marketing content and sales collateral that portrays the value of Feedonomics in a compelling way
Coordinate and implement enablement programs across Feedonomics and BigCommerce to inspire and educate both internal and external teams on the value of Feedonomics
Create and maintain competitive intelligence assets including competitive briefs, sales battlecards, and competitive landscape analysis
Initiate and strategize paid search campaigns, content marketing programs, and other lead generation activities in collaboration with various marketing teams to drive demand and execute GTM initiatives
Create reporting and leverage data to determine campaign impact, analyze results, and optimize programs to support broader business goals

The Requirements 5+ years proven experience as Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, or similar role, preferably 2+ years of business-to-business product marketing experience or experience in the ecommerce space
Experienced marketer with an amazing portfolio demonstrating the ability to lead marketing programs and GTM initiatives
Proven experience of crafting marketing messaging and copywriting that drives campaign success and company growth
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and an expert collaborator
Outstanding project management and organizational skills
Demonstrated experience in market analysis and competitive research
Strong understanding and industry knowledge of ecommerce technology and standard channel programs
Familiarity with demand generation tactics, Google Ads, and content marketing strategy
Working knowledge of web analytics and marketing automation tools
Analytical with a high degree of business acumen, along with the ability to analyze marketing data and derive insights and opportunities
Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic environments, while operating in a matrixed organization
Must be self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently while in a remote work setting
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in marketing, business, or similar field

Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range (or have the minimum apply to them), but rather, the exact salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s location, relevant knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
Targeted salary range:$100,000-$158,125 USD
