* ?This job is a member of the Sales Team, within the Sales Division.
* Responsible for managing, leading, developing, and mentoring four Account Managers that are responsible for the account development of corporate accounts in American Airlines Joint Business (AAJB) revenue.
****What you'll do****
* Direct responsibility for account representatives in Southern California, but also an indirect responsibility to fully leverage other critical resources within the International and Domestic Global Sales Organization and Headquarters.
* Highly collaborative individual who can build bridges across teams with Revenue Management, Yield Management and Revenue Accounting.
* Project management skills to personally lead region wide segment leadership initiatives will be required as well as execution of strategic plans to benefit Western Division.
* Responsible for critical entertainment vertical strategy at American Airlines
* Deliver profitability through team accountability, time management and execution of account strategy plans that drive share shift to American Airlines.
* Significant focus on ROI with tight budgets and a highly competitive market where every investment must be well planned with clear value.
* Fully leveraging specific partner relationships in the Southern California region across all major Airline Alliance Partners and operations teams in major AA Southern California airports.
* Conduct quarterly performance goals assessment
* Consistent use of CRM and associated reporting to influence positive sales behaviors
* Attends customer quarterly business reviews and participates in heavy customer engagement
* Navigates internal systems, processing contracts, strategy sessions, etc.
* Performs other duties as required
* Balancing care, empathy with results and accountability both with the team and with customers

**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
* ?Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
* 5 years of sales or related experience
**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
* Bachelors Degree in Business Administration
* Airline or business to business sales experience
* Sales management experience
**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**
* ?Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
* Knowledge of the airlines network, products, and services as well as the competition
* Analytical and negotiation skills
* Skills in managing a large volume of projects
* Multi-tasking skills
* Ability to convey the value of American Airlines network, product and program to the customers
