Job Descripton:
Processing payroll transactions: Calculating salaries, benefits, taxes, garnishments, and other deductions
Maintaining payroll systems: Implementing, reviewing, and updating payroll processing and accounting systems
Ensuring compliance: Following relevant laws and regulations, including internal controls and tax obligations
Managing payroll expenses: Coordinating payroll expenses and taxes to ensure they are paid correctly and on time
Administering benefits: Managing employee benefits and insurance plans
Preparing payroll reports: Collating data from payroll sources and arranging weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
