The Company is in search of a Vice President of Sales to play a pivotal role in achieving the firm's growth objectives. The successful candidate will be tasked with not only meeting but exceeding sales targets through the development and execution of a refined, metrics-driven sales strategy. This includes the enhancement of a successful sales team structure and the cultivation of leaders across various sales channels. The role demands a focus on consultative sales, enriching the sales strategy, and driving the team to success. The VP of Sales will also be responsible for performance measurement, budgeting, and reporting, as well as for the selection, training, and management of the sales team. The position requires a professional with a deep understanding of the retirement plan industry, including its trends, competitors, and regulatory changes, and the ability to utilize this knowledge to fine-tune the sales strategy and strengthen the brand.Applicants for the VP of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the retirement plan industry, with at least 10 years in a sales leadership role managing teams across multiple verticals. A Bachelor's degree and a relevant professional designation are also required. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of retirement plan administration and recordkeeping, strong computer skills, and professional communication abilities. A driven personality, service-focused attitude, and a proven track record as a positive leader with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills are essential. The role also demands a willingness to travel, a focus on innovation, and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure shared success and efficiency.
