About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Sales to lead and expand their sales team, with a focus on a particularly profitable business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive new client acquisition. This role involves overseeing a team of 5 sales professionals, with the potential for team growth, and will require the VP of Sales to lead, hire, train, and manage the team to ensure sales objectives are met. The VP of Sales will also be expected to build and nurture relationships with key clients, support the sales team in expanding client relationships, and work closely with other functional leadership to improve communication and streamline workflows.Applicants for the VP of Sales position should have a minimum of 8 years of working experience, with a strong focus on sales leadership, and a proven track record of consistently delivering sales targets. Experience in growing and leading a sales organization, including the implementation of critical sales processes, and expertise in building key sales-related processes and KPI reports are essential. While not mandatory, experience in engineering, construction, and manufacturing is highly valued. The role is primarily remote, but the VP of Sales will be expected to travel up to 50% of the time to sites in the relevant state. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying unmet client needs and working with the product team to tailor value propositions.
