A Brief Overview

Oversees the daily transactional review of compensation-related inquiries and requests. Provides recommendations and develops and implements employee compensation structure changes. Evaluates job families and job levels to ensure appropriate leveling. Involved in special projects such as: upgrades to the JDX job description database software, MarketPay salary survey software, and CompXL software; enhancements to current compensation processes; and evaluates new compensation programs. Works in partnership with the rest of the Human Resources team to ensure that compensation and incentive programs are competitive in the market.

What We Need:

Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.

1-3 years Compensation administration,

Experience in an analyst or similar capacity with compensation programs and systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Expert in MS Excel.

Strong attention to details/accuracy.

Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.

Knowledge of compensation principles and procedures.

Proficient in using HR related software.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Familiarity with job evaluation and job analysis systems.

Workday proficiency strongly preferred.

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or progress towards certification.

How You Will Make an Impact: Conduct annual benchmark survey matching & participation.

Complete job evaluations for appropriate job family and level placement.

Assist in the annual market analysis and make recommendations to maintain competitive salary ranges.

Review and make recommendations for compensation packages to maximize retention and ensure internal pay equity and alignment with Argo’s Compensation Framework.

Complete quarterly pay equity analysis and report findings to HR Talent Partners.

Manage MarketPay system including uploading/maintaining survey data results for market data analysis.

Manage the job descriptions in JDXpert.

Administer the annual merit cycle including partnering with compensation team in pre-planning, prepping the launch in the CompXL tool, and processing and auditing of payout files.

Manage LTI vesting administration & reporting in E*TRADE including issuing Annual LTI Agreements and processing cash releases.

Generate compensation reports for data audit and analysis purposes.

Provide project support in ongoing Compensation initiatives.

Assist in the development of compensation education and training materials.

Partner with the internal audit team and complete annual SOX audit requests.
