Location: Eastern Region (Accepting applicants from NY, PA, NJ or DC)

Summary:
The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for achieving an individual quarterly and annual sales quota based on opportunities sourced in an assigned geographic territory and tiered account list. The position will prospect future customers that will contribute to meaningful revenue and strategic business opportunities for the company.
Responsibilities:
Prospect, develop, maintain and grow revenue-generating relationships with counties across assigned territory in the United States
Work with all internal teams to prospect new business, to ensure success and to grow the RES position in the marketplace
Communicate Runbeck offerings and unique value-proposition to counties via email, phone calls and through formal RFP responses
Managing complex sales cycles as products evolve, capabilities expand, and market dynamics change
Report and track all revenue including sales activity through Outreach and deal pipeline through Salesforce
Represent Runbeck with the highest level of integrity
Follows all company policies and procedures
Complete and demonstrate a full understanding of ongoing training concepts and applications
In addition to the essential functions and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
Emulating the Runbeck values in daily interactions with internal and external customers
Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures
Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments while maintaining regular and timely attendance
Requirements
Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree
5+ years of sales experience, public sector or election/government industry is strongly preferred
3+ years of experience in a quota-bearing sales role
Ability to maintain a minimum of 4-6 client engagements per week
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and meets deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and customer contact skills
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Demonstrates computer skills and aptitude; Microsoft Office preferred
Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate company value through a variety of formats
Effectively sets priorities
Ability to track and report on opportunities for improvement and success
