IT Support Specialist - Tier III - Direct Hire
This is an exciting opportunity to put your Tier III IT Support experience to work in a growing faith-based organization. We seek a candidate with deep technical experience with Mac and PC environments. This is NOT a customer facing role, you will dig in and resolve System Admin issues when necessary. Put your basic networking experience with traditional and wireless networks to work in a team environment. This position has a mix of Mac and Windows machines and requires Azure AD, Exchange, and Office 365 experience. You must be exposed to MDM and interested in learning more about Azure in this role. In addition to our HQ in Atlanta we have 30 remote offices and are growing quickly.
Enjoy working in the office only two days a month. Travel is not required for this role, and we seek candidates who are no more than two hours' drive from Atlanta. To be successful in this role, you must be willing and able to work in a team environment and share data with other team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a final escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 specialists
Perform advanced technical support and system administrative functions - drive difficult open issues to a resolved status
Assist with application, operating system, application-related issues, and networking issues
Help advance automation of OS patching, configuration of machines via Imaging, and in general, push for automation where it makes sense
This is a direct hire position. We offer a flexible work arrangementyou only come to the office two times a month for team meetings. For FTE roles, you enjoy highly subsidized medical coverage.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
7++ years (minimum) of Technical Support Experience
3++ years Tier III Support Experience
Mac Admin Experience
Windows Admin Experience including Azure AD, Exchange, Office 365
Single Sign-on experience (Okta) and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) tools
MDM - Mobile Device Management experience (Laptops and Macs not phones)
Powershell Scripting Experience
Patching - Must have experience applying Patches to the OS
Imaging
Networking Troubleshooting skills - firewall, routing, switching, storage, backup and recovery
Basic Wireless Networking troubleshooting skills
Endpoint management systems knowledge - Any of the following ( VMWare, Workspace One, Airwatch)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a team
PREFERRED SKILLS:
MCDST, MOS, MCP, ITIL Microsoft Administrator - certifications preferred
