The Gwinnett Coalition (Coalition) is a growing 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to lead systems change and build capacity to advance equity and community well-being. The Coalition collaborates with members of local government, the business community, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and concerned citizens to champion health equity, mental and behavioral health, and nonprofit capacity building and to achieve our vision of an equitable, resilient, and healthy Gwinnett.
The Technology Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing technology and systems infrastructure, providing technical support to staff, and collaborating to implement innovative solutions to support the Coalition's mission, including but not limited to association management systems (AMS), Microsoft Office, Teams phone integration, Zoom, and AI-powered tools.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to staff members, addressing hardware and software issues, troubleshooting network connectivity problems, and resolving system errors promptly and effectively.
System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and optimization of computer systems, including performing software updates, installing patches, and conducting routine system checks to ensure reliability and security.
Hardware and Software Deployment: Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of computers, peripherals, and software applications for new hires and existing staff members as needed.
Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Provide training and support to staff members on technology-related topics to promote effective utilization of our systems and tools.
Security and Compliance: Assist in implementing and enforcing security measures to safeguard our organization's data and infrastructure. Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to data privacy and security compliance.
Technology Research: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the field of information technology. Research and recommend new solutions, tools, and approaches that can enhance our organization's operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Nonprofit Capacity Building Support: Maintain and manage the Nonprofit Directory; add, update, and delete member and investor records in the AMS, as needed; provide technical support for online boards (e.g., volunteer finder board, job board, etc.)

Qualifications Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with IT support or help desk functions.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services).
Knowledge of IT security principles and practices.
Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Knowledge of association management systems (AMS) and learning management systems (LMS).
Familiarity with AI-powered tools and technologies.
