Manager, Information Technology

What does a successful Manager, Information Technology do at Fiserv?

You will lead a team of IT professionals conducting application development and support in our Money Network team. You will have full responsibility for the application and people that comprise the application team. You will coach team members, career development/planning, resource work planning, and occasional management of internal projects that will enable Money Network to deliver new capabilities to its customers with speed to market delivery.

What you will do:

Lead a team of 20+ developers located both domestic and international

Manage workloads of 20+ application development/support resources and plan for future work up to a year in advance

Ensure team application delivery adheres to high quality IT development practices and procedures

Coach, conduct performance reviews, and career planning guidance

Ensure key projects are delivered on time with high quality

Coordinate work with multiple other teams across the enterprise, and communicate status of projects with senior associates, leadership and clients

Strive to improve the performance of the team and stretch the capabilities of our systems to retain Fiserv’s market-leading competitiveness

What you will need to have:

6+ years of technical industry experience

2+ years of experience in formal or informal leadership roles – managing people, projects, or some form of technology

4+ years of experience with Web Technologies, Java, Linux, Cloud Solutioning, and Mobile Technologies

4+ years of JIRA experience and understanding of Agile practices

4+ years of experience with vulnerability mitigation

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

What would be great to have:

Card payments experience

Fintech experience
