Director of Sales And Business Development

We are looking for a Director of Sales and Business Development to join an established wholesale home décor organization. The ideal candidate will be leading the Inside Sales Team, Sales Agencies, Sales Reps, and our marketing team and international sales.
*This role is remote with up to 25% travel required.
Responsibilities:
Assist the VP of Sales to develop and execute sales strategies.
Lead Inside Sales team to increase sales through lead nurture and outreach to lapsed customers.
Develop promotional offerings to enhance sales and increase market penetration.
Host ongoing training and coaching sessions with sales reps.
Conduct ride along visits with sales reps to improve product knowledge, increase market share, prospect for new business and achieve sales goals.
Analyze account distribution for various sales regions and territories; implement changes for optimal sales coverage.
Foster strategic partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders in the industry.
Experience Requirements:
7+ years of experience in the home décor industry or a related field in a sales leadership position.
Experience in analyzing KPI's to measure success of sales strategies.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Strong working knowledge of industry, competitive products, and the market.
