About the role

We are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Partner Manager to cultivate and manage partnerships with strategic integrators for large contract work in the realm of data and natural language processing (NLP) solutions. This role will be instrumental in identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with key integration partners to drive mutual success and expand our market reach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in partner management, a deep understanding of data and NLP technology, and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value to customers. This is a remote position but requires a candidate be local to either our Reston, VA or Boston, MA locations.

What you will do

Partner Identification and Onboarding: Identify and evaluate potential strategic integrators with expertise in data and NLP solutions, assessing alignment with our business goals and market strategy.

Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations, including executives, product managers, and technical teams, to drive collaboration and mutual success.

Joint Solution Development: Work closely with partners to co-create integrated solutions that leverage our NLP technology and their data expertise to address customer needs effectively.

Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop joint marketing and sales strategies that promote our integrated solutions and drive demand generation.

Enablement and Training: Provide partner teams with the necessary resources, training, and support to effectively position, sell, and implement our joint solutions.

Opportunity Management: Identify and prioritize opportunities for collaboration and joint sales efforts, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with revenue targets.

Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of partner relationships, tracking progress and making data-driven adjustments as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to align on partner integration requirements, support needs, and customer satisfaction initiatives.

What you will bring to Babel Street

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in partner management, alliance management, or business development roles, preferably in the technology industry.

Public sector experience a plus.

Deep understanding of data analytics, natural language processing, and AI technologies, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Familiarity with NLP techniques and methodologies, including sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and text classification, and their applications across industries.

Experience working with NLP APIs and platforms, such as spaCy, NLTK, TensorFlow, or similar tools, to develop and deploy NLP solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and alliances.

Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity and change.

Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events
