We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded HR Manager to lead our HR department and oversee a dedicated team of five staff members. The ideal candidate will be a fair and empathetic leader, passionate about mentoring, providing solutions, and ensuring a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
Design and execute HR initiatives that support the organization’s goals.
Oversee and manage the performance of the HR team of 5, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Provide leadership, direction, and support to HR staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Oversee the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and effective hiring process.
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and fairly.
Mediate conflicts and provide resolutions to maintain a harmonious workplace.
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and best practices.
Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.
Develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
Promote continuous learning and development opportunities.
Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction.
Prepare and present reports on HR activities and performance.
Advise senior management on HR-related matters and provide strategic input on organizational issues.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a proven HR Manager or similar role, managing more than 1 individual
Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies and policies.
Demonstrated ability to handle employee concerns and conflicts fairly and empathetically.
Availability to manage occasional emergencies over weekends, as our plant operates six days a week. Please note this happens very rarely.
