Salary: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 base salary + $78,0000.00-$86,000.00 variable/commissions compensation
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for an energetic and experienced Account Executive to own the entire K-12 Charter School sales funnel in California . You will be responsible for signing on new accounts to use the Swing platform as their primary source for finding substitute teachers.
Your extensive K-12 sales experience will be valuable for growing the California market, where we already have several customers, converting prospects into Swing customers. Tapping into your existing network of education leaders and decision makers will help you close business within your first 90 days.
Your experience selling to state, school district and charter school leadership will guide the processes such as presenting at cabinet meetings, publicly meeting with the board, confirming state policies, and RFP management. Your understanding of the state education landscape will assist with the selection of local consultants to help accelerate the lead generation and closed deals. Your understanding of forecasting will be essential in this unique marketplace because of the need to match school needs with available substitutes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build pipeline and close new Charter School business while helping build the Swing brand in your territory
Execute an outbound lead generation strategy targeting charter school administrators
Lead sales meetings with Charter school and district administrators
Lead the sales cycle from from initial contact through to board approval and contract execution
Develop and present quarterly sales plans for your territory
Recommend consultants to help you connect with target school organizations
Collaborate with school marketing to generate leads in targeted regions
Conduct thoughtful research of target accounts to turn leads into deals
Host events with school leaders
Identify and attend conferences where you can generate leads and generate buzz about Swing

Deeply understand your territory and can influence our approach to winning in it
Combine a can-do attitude with the desire and focus to exceed sales goals
Take a collaborative, team approach to transitioning won deals to Customer Success
Are persistent, organized, and goal-oriented, and have a keen sense of prioritization
Have a habit of accurately updating your CRM and pipeline once a week
Are self-aware, humble, and constantly seek ways to be grow personally and professionally
Have five or more years of enterprise sales experience with at least two in education sales
LOCATION AND TRAVEL:
You will work remotely from a home office in Southern California
Travel requirements: 2-3 times a month within territory. Occasional travel to other locations for training and offsite meetings, and to state or national conferences.
