IT Program Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program
Communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end to end visibility into the health of the deliverables
Ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost
Facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery
Support of engineering teams under the Service Request Fulfillment (SRF) umbrella
Responsible for end-to-end ITIL change management
Act as a gateway between engineering teams and application owners by managing a high volume of changes from creation to closure within ITSM Remedy
Exhibit strict organizational skills in an environment with constant shifting priorities
Interface directly with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/providers, architecture, product engineering, product management, business management, and at times, with various levels of senior management
Adherence and use of standards, product sets, templates, systems, and artifacts are important to the success of the individual, the department, and the firm at large
Requirements: 3-5 years of experience working in Change Management space
ITIL Change Management
Change management experience - ITSM experience preferred
Foundational knowledge of ITIL processes
Leadership skills, a self-starter, self-directed and shows initiative
Working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence
Experience working in an Agile environment
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience
Demonstrated ability to reduce process complexities
Organized and detail oriented
A high-level understanding of existing and emerging technologies and business requirements
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Able to work on their own and successfully in team settings in various sizes and locations
