ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: The Political Advocacy and Government team at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Digital Account Executive to join our team! The Digital Account Executive will play a critical role within our fast-paced Political, Advocacy, and Government (PAG) ad sales team. This role will focus on prospecting and developing new business sales revenue from agencies and advertisers in the political ad space. ABOUT YOU: You are an accomplished Account Executive who loves prospecting for new business and has a proven track record of building long-term client relationships in the political advertising space. No challenge is too large because you are accustomed to working in a fast-paced, fast changing environment covering a high volume of accounts. You are a consummate team player who is eager to learn, exudes professionalism, and embraces a start-up culture with high growth goals. YOUR DAY-DAY: Proactively contact new and existing political agencies, campaigns, and causes to educate, propose and secure buy-in on TU digital solutions.
Prepare and present accurate and comprehensive political digital sales presentations and establish close business relationships with all levels of clients.
Own, manage, and develop relationships with clients, agencies, and advertisers.
Look for opportunities to develop monetization solutions for clients and ensure clients receive superior customer service.
Develop accounts from existing political linear business to digital business.
Work closely and cross-functionally with PAG AEs, Digital Strategists, Marketing, Finance, and Legal.
Develop strong relationships throughout UCI to ensure a unified and coordinated strategy is presented in the market.
YOU HAVE: Bachelor’s Degree / Minimum 4-year college degree.
Minimum 6 years of work experience in digital advertising sales (preferably in the political ad space) OR similar years of experience working at a political campaign, party committee, and/or digital ad tech firm.
Proven track record developing new business relationships and exceeding sales quota in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
Strength in prospecting, generating proposals, and closing the sale.
Must be self-motivated, driven and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong computer skills with experience in Internet & Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Start-up experience a plus.
