Dealer Development Manager Position Summary
Are you a self-starter, a strategic thinker and results driven? Do you pride yourself on your leadership skills? This position drives the sales initiatives of the dealer network in the US to ensure continued growth of whole goods sales and market share. Working directly with the distributors, you will carefully and effectively analyze strengths to capitalize on growth opportunities as well as remediate weaknesses to solidify the market position of the select distributors. This position will be based remotely from a home office or other suitable location.
*This position can be based anywhere in the Eastern half of the US*

Essential Duties of the Dealer Development Manager
Primary goal of effectively managing and developing the AMER external distribution network to promote growth, coupled with research, identification, and on boarding of new distribution partners.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to capture market share and drive unit sales.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Establishes training/learning paths for all personnel. Determine training programs to participate in based on individual dealer needs.
Support dealer in commercial activity at customer/customer events as required.
Drive, manage and support dealer inventory levels (maximize end customer availability)
Prioritize activities/actions to get the best Return on Investment.
Identifies distributor candidates and assists in negotiations of distributor standard contracts.
Follow accounts receivable and overdue collection.
Gathers market intelligence on current distributors, distributor candidates, competitors, and customers to distribute as appropriate and to define the best way forward to drive growth
Education and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Good knowledge of Crushing & Screening or aggregate processing equipment.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Heavy Equipment manufacturer
Previous sales or distribution management experience
