As a Health Account Executive, You Will
Develop and take ownership of an account strategy for growth and subsequently executing that strategy to win new business in the Federal Health segment - (DOD, CDC, VA etc)
Identify opportunities with high Win potential, qualifying opportunities, and working with our capture and delivery teams to win
Oversee the development and execution of customer call plans
Work with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals

The position is focused on growing our current business base within the Defense Health and Civilian health agencies with a primary focus on the Departments of Defense (DHA, DHMS and services), Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Veterans Affairs in areas of information technology, data management and analytics, and program management.
A week in the life of the Health Account Executive includes:
Proactively identify new funding and business opportunities
Perform market research to qualify new opportunities.
Meet with clients and build positive relationships and customer affinity
Delivering presentations and communicating to internal and external audiences
Attending key industry association and customer sponsored events
Cultivate strong relationships with proven external partners for the purposes of teaming
Identify early key customer trends to proactively leverage capabilities to help the company grow
Managing responses to government market research inquiries (e.g., RFIs, SSNs, etc.)
Develops and maintains a “value added” working relationship with internal stakeholders

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $130,000- $185,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Job Requirements
Bachelor’s and 10+ years of experience selling into Federal Health agencies specifically DHA, DHM, HHS or VA
Ability to manage multiple customer relationships and priorities
Knowledge of Government contracting, acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors
Strong familiarity with federal acquisition regulations and contracting mechanisms to include IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, JVs and others
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust
