Vice President, Global Strategic Partnerships and Alliances

Vice President, Global Strategic Partnerships and Alliances

PTC is looking for a dynamic Vice President, Global Strategic Partnerships and Alliances who has proven experience driving the development of key partner relationships while aligning to a long-term partner program . Our organization has a strong partnership GTM motion and deep relationships across all partner types, including our key Strategic Alliances, System Integrators (SI's) and Technical Partners. This role is highly visible and critical to broadening our partnership footprint across the ecosystem as we continue to outgrow the market.

This position will report to the Chief Sales Officer and will have full ownership of a succession plan for our strategic partnerships and alliances in the long term. At PTC, we are transforming our business to focus on delivering our technologies through a SaaS model. Successful candidates must have proven experience in working collaboratively across executive management, field sales organizations, product development, and business practices. They will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving abilities. Additionally, they will have superb communication and project management skills, communicate progress and results both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way. This is a highly visible role across the organization and is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the growth and success of our customers, our partner ecosystem, and PTC.

The ideal candidate will possess an extensive background in owning, defining, and executing strategic direction of alliances with partners. At PTC, the VP, Global Strategic Partnerships and Alliances will be responsible for:

Aligning strategic partnerships and alliances to a common goal

Building relationships with external and internal stakeholders (partners/alliances and executive leadership)

Building, defining and executing a long term, customer focused, results driven plan

They should be a self-starter, with demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and technical challenges to help build and convey compelling value propositions for PTC customers with our partners. The candidate should also have a proven track record of influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with prior solutions and program successes. This is a global role and requires a global perspective, so international travel experience is desirable.

Day to Day Work closely with PTCs Corporate Development group to build solutions with Technology partners that fit PTCs Strategy

Incubate new technology and measure until ready for either intervention or release as a broad product

Build, maintain and drive relationships with Strategic partners which will involve global travel to various partner sites

Measure and Inspect Partners and Team Members against key metrics for success against the broader Partner mission

Create a framework for idea to retire on solutions

Lead the Systems Integrators (SI) team and help build offerings that emerge as GTM plays for the Field Alliance Managers to execute upon

Hold QBR and Annual Reviews of key partners

Manage PTC Sr leadership partnership sponsors

Work closely with Partner Program team to build out the competencies framework

Work closely with our Chief of Staff to ensure reporting to ELT on a regular basis

Key Skills and Qualifications: Openness and ability to travel globally, up to 50% of the time

BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results.

Track record of overachieving sales revenue and customer success results.

Experience managing large and complex global partner ecosystems with a proven understanding of the various business models, trends, and market pressures associated with the systems integrator's community

15+ years in partner management for a global technology company, (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, ServiceNow, AWS, Oracle, etc.) or global systems integrator (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, DXC, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc.).

In-depth knowledge of the cloud computing industry.

Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.

Proven ability to partner with a wide variety of senior-level individuals including top-level business leaders and customers.

Strong intuition for business, and experience with large, complex organizations during periods of rapid growth and change.

Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy.

Salesforce.com, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills highly desirable.
