Job Description

In this role, you'll own your clients and territory, collaborating with an established sales support and marketing team to develop new business. After familiarizing yourself with the company, you'll create a plan to identify top opportunities, build important relationships, and secure new business annually. As a significant contributor throughout the sales process, you'll diagnose problems, propose solutions, negotiate, and close deals. Your goal is to position our client as an industry expert by understanding clients' unique needs and leveraging their strengths to maximize value. Additionally, you'll collaborate with peers to develop best practices, drive the proposal process, and establish key relationships. Utilize leading CRM tools like Salesforce and email marketing platforms like Active Campaign to manage contacts, leads, opportunities, and the sales pipeline.

Skills and Requirements

2 years of experience selling government portfolio. Clientele consists of local, county and city government.

A strong understanding of local government workflow and practices.

Business development experience selling a SaaS product. * Experience working with Active Campaign and Salesforce.
