Your Mission

Automation Advisors play a crucial role in both our pre-sales and post-sales processes. This individual will be responsible for advising clients on the best automation strategies using our solutions, driving both sales growth and customer success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation technologies and a keen understanding of how these can be applied to solve real-world business challenges.

What You Will Do

Pre-Sales Consultation:

Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and propose tailored automation solutions.

Conduct demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our automation products.

Post-Sales Implementation Guidance:

Collaborate with the Delivery and Success teams to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of automation solutions post-purchase.

Provide ongoing advice and support to customers, ensuring they realize the full value of their investment.

Solution Design and Customization:

Develop customized automation strategies that align with customer-specific requirements and objectives.

Work with product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are feasible and meet customer expectations.

Customer Education and Training:

Educate customers on the features and best practices of our automation platform.

Conduct workshops and training sessions to empower customers and enhance user competency.

Feedback and Product Improvement:

Gather customer feedback and insights to inform future product development and enhancements.

Serve as a liaison between customers and the product team, advocating for features or changes that meet market needs.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in automation technology.

Advise internal teams on strategies to remain competitive and address emerging customer needs.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain detailed documentation on customer interactions, solutions proposed, and feedback received.

Report on the success and challenges of automation implementations, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in a sales engineering role and 3+ years of experience in a technical advisory role, with a strong focus on automation solutions and iPaaS.

Proficient understanding of automation and iPaaS technologies and trends.

Excellent communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.

Ability to engage with Senior IT leaders and C-level executives as well as with Architects and Developers.

Ability to translate technical concepts into business benefits for a non-technical audience.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, as this role will be asked to come into the office once per week.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience in both pre-sales and post-sales roles.

Certifications in relevant automation technologies or platforms.

Experience with AI/ML technologies and building LLM enabled applications.

Salary

If hired in the state of California, the on target total compensation for this role is $200,000-$225,000 annually.

Our salary range is based on paying competitively for our size, industry, and location of the role, and are one part of many other compensation, benefit and reward opportunities we provide, including stock options.

Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
