About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving new business for Headway Environmental by leveraging your extensive industry connections and environmental regulatory knowledge, coupled with your persuasive sales skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and present compelling proposals for potential clients, clearly outlining the value proposition of Headway Environmenntal's services.
Identify and qualify leads through market research, networking, and identification, planning, and attending industry events.
Manage inbound leads once filtered by Business Development Representatives to identify Qualified Leads to pursue.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and exceeding expectations.
Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring successful project execution.
Manage existing client accounts and nurture ongoing relationships.
Prepare and deliver presentations on Headway Environmental's services to potential clients and industry groups.
Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives.
Utilize Salesforce CRM to effectively manage leads, track opportunities, and report on sales activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
5+ years of successful experience in sales, preferably the environmental consulting or related industry
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM
Willingness to travel to new logo prospect locations within assigned geography, occasional off-site meetings and events approximately 50% of the time
Preferred:
Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERP)
Professional Engineer (PE)
Certified Senior Ecologist (CSE)
Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS)
HAZWOPER 40-hr
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing deals
Ability to work PST, MST, or CST hours
