Travel: Average of 30% (opportunity for additional travel up to individual)
Compensation: (salary plus uncapped commission range)
Status: Full-Time
Heritage is seeking a National Sales Manager based in Phoenix, Arizona. This individual will identify, qualify and close new business opportunities locally and nationally from Heritage’s wide range of products and services but focused on general services contractor offering. This position will work in partnership with the Production Team to achieve Heritage revenue and profit goals, while always focusing on unparalleled first in class customer service, fostering long-term relationships with new and existing Clients and Partners.
Essential Job Duties:
Solicit event organizers of trade shows, conventions, and corporate meetings
Meet or exceed annual sales goal at acceptable profitable targets
Build relationships with assigned customers and prospects to retain customers and build future pipeline of opportunities
Demonstrate a constant effort to find new business by performing outbound sales calls and/or in-person prospecting of new business
Build pipeline to include a balance of short-, mid-, and long-term opportunities in the assigned market
Visit local facilities as assigned for lead generation and referral opportunities
Attend local industry events as needed
Actively engage with customers and prospects year-round to ensure Heritage's consultative sales approach and service standards
Build quotes and provide pricing to customers through a Heritage proposal; customize proposal documents as needed
Maintain all reporting and benchmark requirements including Salesforce to date
Provide written orders of event requirements to Heritage's operations staff and communicate with all internal departments to successfully produce events as needed
You are a Brand Ambassador, representing Heritage to all prospective clients
Prospect for new business by developing targeted solicitation plans for key accounts, including any and all potential meeting venues, associations, and corporations with trade shows or corporate events.
Works with Heritage Production Teams to coordinate all phases of pre-show, on-site, and post-show project management.
Maintains accurate records of all sales activities with a given CRM
Maintains open and ongoing communication with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met and on schedule.
Prepares and conducts Heritage capability presentations to prospective Partners.
Prepares and submits RFP responses.
In conjunction with the Creative Production Department, create integrated custom marketing solutions tailored to client’s unique objective
Negotiates and prepares contracts to secure new and existing business.
Attend, participate, and maintain memberships in local and national industry events and organizations to provide maximum exposure for Heritage.
Above all else, always foster “The Heritage Way”: adhering to company policies, procedures, business ethic code, customer service standards, and teamwork initiative
The successful candidate must be organized, detail oriented, creative, able to multi-task and have effective communication skills
Provide onsite support as needed
Physical Requirements :
Frequent periods of sitting, standing and walking. Periodic bending & stooping, kneeling, squatting and crouching, crawling, reaching, twisting and carrying, pushing, pulling and lifting weight amounts of 25 lbs. or less. Regular and frequent, repetitive hand motion and grasping.
