About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Sales with a focus on the defense sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the sales process within the DOD/Federal system, with a particular emphasis on software sales. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and meeting sales targets. While prior experience within the DOD/Federal system is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. The VP of Sales will also be expected to travel to various US locations as part of their responsibilities.Applicants for the VP of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years of professional sales experience, with a strong background in selling software products. The ability to obtain a security clearance is essential. The role demands a candidate who is proactive, results-driven, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. While the position does not necessitate a current security clearance, the candidate must be eligible to obtain one.
