Account Manager This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office. Whether it’s hotels, rental cars, flights, cruises or packages, our Lines of Business develop the relationships we need to generate great deals and then get them to Priceline customers – so they can experience all the moments that matter to them. Why this job’s a big deal: As an Account Manager, the key objective is to grow the coverage and quality of Priceline’s supply network. The individual takes care of a large portfolio of emerging high growth supply partners and assists in partnership related functions at scale. Additionally, the Partnership Development Manager is expected to find opportunities, develop hotel partner relationships, ensure price competitiveness, identify and secure potential sources of supply to enhance business growth. ****The Account Manager uses their experience in procurement, e-commerce, revenue management and the hotel/travel/hospitality industry, generally, to manage Priceline’s hotel market and market partnership-related functions.* *** In this role you will get to: Contact high growth supply partners to highlight revenue growth opportunities and improve value
Build strong supplier relationships and convincingly explain the strategic benefits of the Priceline program to grow bookings, revenues, and gross profit in assigned portfolio
Suggest business solutions, based on data, to improve Priceline accommodation availability, price competitiveness and business growth for hotel partners
Evaluate existing partnerships and resolve actions to optimize performance
Conduct ongoing reviews of production with participating hotels and continually present strategic recommendations using a consultative approach to optimize hotel conversion and assist partner hotels in improving their RevPAR via Priceline products
Formulate project ideas, resolve where opportunity exists and implement new strategies
Research and troubleshoot rate and availability issues preventing hotels from enhancing booking performance, e.g., problems with connectivity, rate mapping, Extranet management, etc.
Train and advise hotel partners on Priceline technologies, tools, and models
Prepare presentations and materials
Run regular weekly/monthly supplier and internal reports
Communicate effectively with a large portfolio at scale, using various methods including phone, email, zoom calls and market visits.
Who you are: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum one year experience in a sales role
Minimum four years of professional experience in hotel or travel industry, especially OTA channels preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence external / internal collaborators
Success in acquiring, mentoring and building long term customer relationships
Ability to creatively “think on the fly” when negotiating with hotel partners
A great teammate with a professional “get it done” attitude and work ethic
Strong strategic and data analysis skills. Consistent record in using data to drive achievements and make decisions
Curiosity and an experimentation demeanor
Strong prioritization and planning skills; must be comfortable with making trade-off vs. trying to get it all done
Autonomous and result driven
Comfortable in two-way feedback culture
Adapts well to and is energized by change
Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and is open to change in responsibilities, workflows, as needed by the business
Availability to travel up to 30% (for partner meetings/market visits and/or team meetings)

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
