The Company is seeking a visionary and experienced Vice President of Development to join their executive team in a founding role. This position is pivotal in combining the development office, foundation, alumni relations, and a sculpture museum to streamline processes and maximize the potential for scholarships, programs, and capital improvements. The successful candidate will be a direct advisor and co-strategist to the President, leading high-performing teams, and driving philanthropic support and engagement. Key responsibilities include budget management, staff development, assessing growth potential, and strengthening internal and external relationships. The role demands a collaborative approach, the ability to implement innovative ideas, and a proven track record in leading fundraising campaigns.Applicants for the Vice President of Development role at the company must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of progressive fundraising and leadership experience in higher education or a nonprofit setting. A Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and leading effective teams, working with non-profit boards, and demonstrating credibility and sound judgment in donor relations.
