Manager, Revenue Operations

MISSION
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Revenue Operations the Manager, Revenue Operations will be responsible for helping our company succeed providing oversight to the daily and monthly revenue functions for Alegeus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and approve revenue recognition including account fees subscription, spend based Interchange and Assets-based Interest (NII):
Review customer contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with Company policy and applicable accounting standards (ASC 606) in a SaaS environment.
Consult on revenue policy and ensure proper accounting practices.
Assist in developing the pricing strategy and billing practices.
Collaborate with the products team to determine correct revenue recognition for new products offered, ensuring that new products rolled out meet all revenue recognition requirements and accurate reporting.
Ensure all processes around the revenue cycle are documented and that documentation is concurrently updated for changes made in the period.
Oversee systems and processes relating to the revenue recognition cycle. Continuously assess and develop internal controls and financial metrics to ensure accuracy in reported revenue, including supporting the reporting for forecasts, actuals, tax-related and disclosure-related revenue and accounts receivable matters.
Ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, annual and transaction-based revenue controls.
Support year-end financial audit relating to the revenue cycle:
Ensure timely provision of support to the auditors relating to the revenue cycle
No material adjusting entries around the revenue cycle proposed by auditors
No significant deficiencies around the revenue cycle identified by auditors
Manage and develop direct reports
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
8-10+ years of direct experience with revenue operations and billing, preferably in a SaaS or Payments company
Demonstrated success in process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
ROLE-BASED COMPETENCIES Demonstrated initiative and meaningful execution in past roles.
Should be able to create meaningful relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to work on multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Detail oriented with ability to drive efficiency in work processes
