The Role:
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic VP of Enterprise Sales to lead our sales efforts and drive revenue growth within our enterprise segment. The VP of Enterprise Sales will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base, cultivating key relationships, and driving the execution of our sales strategy. Reporting into our Chief Revenue Officer, the ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in enterprise sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the sales process within complex organizations.
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy complete with action plans to exceed targets.
Leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team, providing hands-on guidance, support, and coaching to maximize individual and collective performance. This may include getting involved to close complex deals when necessary.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the enterprise segment, leveraging industry knowledge, market insights, and strategic partnerships.
Working closely with the Client Success, product and marketing team to further develop demand generation and sales strategies.
Driving continuous improvement and innovation within the sales organization, implementing best practices, processes, and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and course correction as needed.
Articulating and packaging information at an Executive level internally and to prospective customers.
Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and foster strategic partnerships.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in enterprise sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience with selling into financial services institutions. Governance, Risk and/or Compliance experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, exceed sales targets, and expand market share within the enterprise segment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and build rapport with key stakeholders.
A hands-on, results-oriented approach, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and delivering exceptional customer value.
Knowledge of trading business, markets and products is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales productivity tools.
A hands-on, player/coach leadership style that fosters both accountability and approachability.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred but not required.
The compensation range for this role is specific to the United States and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, training, licensure and certification, and experience. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role would be $165,000-$200,000 plus applicable commission / benefits offerings, etc as those similarly situated within the Company.
