Account Director

As an Account Director you will have experience in key account management, driving continued customer excellence and developing new opportunities for growth.
This role is for someone who has experience with building relationships (internal and client), an enthusiasm for thinking creatively to complete projects whilst working in a collaborative agency environment.
You will work with both senior & junior team members, the Account Director's primary daily role will be to oversee account projects and be the daily contact with clients, providing them with both strategic counsel (with support from senior managers) and tactical execution.
You will work across accounts to support several main accounts across Inizio Engage XD.
Experience in within agency (commercial or medical affairs) is recommended preferably working with Pharmaceutical clients
We support hybrid work, however we are looking for candidates in and around the Philadelphia area.
You will report into the Head of Client Engagement
What will you do …
* Agency ambassador to the client; knowledgeable on what the agency can offer to provide proactive leadership to our clients.* Client ambassador within the agency; knowledgeable on client strategy, ways of working, processes and culture to help the agency position and implement programs.* Healthcare consultancy (expertise); support clients through execution of their learning strategy.* Opportunity seeker; business development and networking; work with the internal Client Engagement Director to map client challenges and demonstrate the ability to translate these into meaningful agency opportunities that deliver value to our clients. Nurture our client network and build lasting trusted relationships.* Foster excellent creative, capability and scientific collaboration; secure the appropriate talent, identify responsibilities, and apply the right processes for high quality and consistency of work. Resolve personnel conflict and crisis management and foster positive team environments.* Project direction; nurture and support the agency-client relationship from brief to PO, support the client and our teams challenging or guiding the direction of the project to ensure it continues to meet client goals, timelines and budget through to delivery.* Commercial leadership and financial accountability; negotiate and lead first budget strategy, monitor scope creep. Deliver and articulate account plans internally where requested.* Client relationship leadership; host client check-ins, provide flexible and empathetic approaches to individual client needs. Build trusting and lasting relationships, lead on client review meetings and be a trusted project escalation.* Foster a fun and nurturing team environment; ensure clarity, managing failures with a learning mindset and encouragement, sharing and recognizing single and team successes* Line management / mentoring; provide time and space for junior staff members to learn and apply insights to practical experiences, shape and support career goals, provide hints and tips, encouragement and advice.
What do you need to have …
* 5 to 7 years within Client Services within a creative or life science agency (preferably working with Pharmaceutical clients)* Experienced in leading growing accounts* Experienced in leading and shaping profitable budgets* Experienced in overseeing delivery of a variety of commercial and medical learning programs* Experience working in a collaborative and communicative environment* Be able to flex and learnings and experiences* Experience in project financial accountability* Experience resourcing projects* Experience working at a high-level in PowerPoint* Experience handling multiple programs and clients* Understanding of the regulated healthcare environment in which the team and the work need to operate within* Demonstrate an understanding of healthcare codes and compliance activity/behaviors

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.
