Summary

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding our customer base. You will play a crucial role in promoting Overproof to beverage alcohol suppliers. This job entails prospecting, pitching and converting small- and medium-sized suppliers.

Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels. Generate leads and build a pipeline through outbound calls, email and social media outreach.

Sales Presentations and Demos: Conduct engaging and informative product demos that showcase capabilities and advantages. Customize presentations to resonate with each prospect's specific needs.

Consultative Selling: Understand prospective clients' needs, pain points, and business objectives to tailor the Overproof value proposition effectively. Provide insightful guidance on how the product can address their unique challenges.

Negotiation & Conversion: Manage the complete sales cycle to close deals and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.

Pipeline Management: Maintain consistent and accurate records of all interactions and sales activities in HubSpot.

Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and use cases. Participate as the voice of the customer in product ideation. Stay up-to-date on new features and product launches.

Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products and market dynamics.

Networking: face-to-face meetings, sales calls, and any other activities that help foster relationships.

Requirements:

Experience in the beverage alcohol industry is a major plus.

Basic sales skills including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions and closing deals are crucial. Training will be provided but an aptitude for sales is necessary.

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and measurable results.

Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing responsibilities independently.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $45,000

Signing Bonus: $10,000

Annualized OTE at month 12: $189,000

Total Compensation OTE Y1: $133,000

Probationary Period:

This position requires the candidate to complete a three-month paid probationary period where the candidate will be evaluated on performance. The candidate will receive clear expectations prior to the start date.

Notes

This position is based in Miami, Fla., at Overproof’s office in Wynwood. Compensation packages are subject to change with 30-day notice.
