About the Account Executive Role

You’ll be part of a fast-paced, dynamic sales team opening new does with key marketing prospects in some of the world’s most successful B2B technology companies as potential new clients.
You’ll apply strategic thinking and relationship building to help get marketing, IT and Finance executives on board to solve their go to market challenges. You will understand their key initiatives, align SAPinsiders global membership, publishing, events and digital services to sell them into becoming new client Partner Members in the largest global SAP Member community in the world.
The Account Executive is a high energy sales professional who manages a dedicated territory of B2B enterprise technology companies and a portfolio of the largest SAP End User Companies. You will sell them initially and then build lasting relationships across all marketing executives and roles within your named accounts.
The role works directly with the Chief Revenue Officer.
What You Will Do
Own a dedicated territory of over 125 named accounts.
Build deep spending relationships with key marketing executives in every named account including: IT, Finance, Marketing, Event Marketing, and Lead Generation.
Conduct continuous lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying.
Proactively schedule calls with prospective clients via phone and email (including cold calling).
Educate prospective clients on the value of SAPinsider’s renowned Global ACE (awareness-consideration-engagement) services and events.
Partner with the Chief Revenue Officer to create customized plans for each account in your sales territories, with a goal of exceeding your monthly, quarterly and annual new logo sales targets.
Coordinate internal staff to ensure the right individuals are present to support a prospective client on the issue/challenge to be discussed during the sales pitch call and/or sales presentation.
Assure 100% client renewal and upsell with routine ongoing client relationship management.

What You Will Need
Degree candidates preferred (all majors welcome)
Relevant work in sales, Hunter, Account Executive, BDR roles
Understanding of B2B technology marketing
Unmatched ability to establish credibility with senior-level executives
Varsity-level communication, writing, problem-solving, and time management skills
Ability to plan and prioritize daily tasks/responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
Compensation
The Account Executive enjoys a competitive base salary of $80,000 and an aggressive 4% commission on all sales up to annual plan and a 7% over plan commission accelerator with an uncapped income potential. It is expected that the Account Executive will exceed an OTE of $110,000 year one growing year over year.
