International organization, focusing on the design and manufacture of high-reliability Connectivity, Power & Control solutions for the Aerospace, Defense & Space industries, is seeking a VP of Operations to be responsible for all plant operations including production, repair & overhaul, manufacturing engineering, quality, purchasing, planning, and logistics.

Our Client is an internationally recognized organization with a 40+ year history, providing high-reliability, connectivity, power and control solutions for various industries in Aerospace, Defense and Space. The Organization serves as the aviation industry's premier designer/manufacturer of mission-critical power electronics.
The production processes include electronics manufacturing, assembly, test, and repair/overhaul operations.
Description
Drive profitable business growth while meeting quarterly and annual Operational and EBITDA targets.
Foster a culture of accountability and results through effective performance management.
Ensure world-class on-time delivery and quality performance for our customer base.
Multi-Site responsbility
Manage a team of 6 direct reports and approximately 150 indirect reports.
Develop and manage operating and capital budgets to achieve annual EBITDA goals.
Initiate productivity projects to consistently reduce overall costs and optimize working capital.
Optimize workforce requirements, temporary labor, and overtime to enhance labor efficiencies.
Streamline and execute processes for the efficient introduction of new products into production.
Mentor and manage direct staff, overseeing talent development initiatives.
Profile
10+ years of leadership positions in manufacturing operations with budgetary and P&L responsibility (e.g. Business Unit Manager or Plant Manager).
Experience in high complexity, low volume, high mix aerospace and defense operations
Demonstrated success in strategic efforts to drive consistent productivity gains
Ability to balance long term manufacturing strategy and day-to-day execution
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline. An MBA is desirable.
Job Offer
Our Client is offering a competitive compensation package which includes base salary, bonus, benefits and attractive long-term equity incentives.
Salary: $225,000 - $265,000 Plus Bonus (Performance Based)
