About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations for its Heart & Vascular Service Line. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the core team, serving as a subject matter expert on local and national cardiac service line trends and issues. This role requires a Master's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field, with a clinical background, and a minimum of ten years of management experience in cardiovascular services or medical practice management. The VP Ops will be responsible for strategic planning, and operational effectiveness, and will lead initiatives to coordinate cardiac care across the system, optimize market share, and enhance referral opportunities.Key responsibilities include overseeing the development of an integrated reporting structure, translating data into business plans, and leading change management efforts. The VP Ops will also be involved in the development and implementation of performance metrics consistent with value-based care models and will ensure the financial success of the service line. Collaboration with hospitals, medical groups, and physician leadership is essential to maintain program goals, objectives, and quality services. The role demands excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, as well as the ability to lead a broad range of stakeholders and to work towards the achievement of the organizational mission.
