Vice President of Slot Operations

Overview:
Vice President of Slot Operations oversees the strategic management and efficient functioning of all aspects related to slot machines within the casino. This role is responsible for optimizing slot floor payout, maximizing revenue, ensuring regulatory compliance and implementing strategies that will attract and retain customers.
Responsibilities:
Directly responsible for the daily operation of all slot department functions. Works with the GM to develop the department's strategic objectives and to facilitate its implementation.
Analyzes, audits, and summarizes all pertinent statistical data, correlates into appropriate forms and disseminates accordingly.
Assists in long range plans and department budget relating to payroll, gaming equipment, and other operational expenses.
Monitors the performance of department staff and direct reports.
Responsible for analyzing slot data, producing detailed reports for slot operations to improve product selection and maximize performance.
Stays abreast of current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicates pertinent information to subordinates.
Acts consistent with company and corporate objectives and practices.
Attends guest functions with premium players and addresses problem situations that cannot be resolved by subordinates.
Assists in the development of the department's strategic operating plan and capital budget.
Oversees department staffing levels, making appropriate adjustments and recommendations to scheduling personnel on all shifts.
Monitors existing internal controls for efficiency and effectiveness.
Develops a strong working relationship with all department employees through open communication and an approachable demeanor.
Ensures that all department activities reflect the policies, philosophies, and regulations of the company/property/department as well as compliance with DGE regulations.
Maintains the integrity of all gaming activity.
Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Preferred. Six (6) years slot experience with at least three (3) years as Slot Shift Manager or Slot Technical Shift Manager required. Must possess a valid New Jersey Key License, or have the ability to obtain a license. Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal, to logically and independently plan and direct a workfoce to set and achieve high standards of performance.
