Vice President of Operations

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee our company's operational activities and drive efficiency and growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in operations management. The ideal candidate will reside in the Houston, Orlando, Miami or Birmingham areas.
Responsibilities:
Oversee capital improvement projects
Train regional property managers (including site staff if needed)
Analyze cash flow projections, asset valuations, risk analyses
Work closely with other departments including Accounting, Legal, HR.
Perform pre-acquisition analysis and due diligence, including review of financial and operational assumptions.
Develop accurate and timely reports to internal and external partners.
Lead budget creation and analysis process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent 10 + years work experience)
Minimum of 2 years of property management experience; regional property management experience preferred.
Ability to travel frequently.
Basic knowledge of construction management.
Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills; preferably someone that is a creative problem solver.
Perform an assessment on Excel that demonstrates basic knowledge of the Excel software and basic finance and accounting concepts.
