Talent Management Consultant

MISSION / SUMMARY: If you are passionate about optimizing employee engagement, driving talent management, enhancing performance management on a global scale and are an earlier in career superstar, our Talent Management Consultant role may be right for you! In this critical role and in partnership with your manager and the Global HRBPs, you will manage and enhance a few of GPI’s talent management initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, provide guidance to managers, and implement strategies to foster an inclusive and high-performance workforce. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating capabilities and skills, as well as providing valuable insights that contribute to strategic talent decisions. This role reports directly to the VP, Talent and DE&I and is based in our Atlanta Headquarters (3 days on-site weekly).

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Performance Management

Manage and execute performance management process globally.

Embed consistent performance management practices within the organization.

Provide guidance on performance reviews, feedback, and development plans to drive continuous improvement.

Employee Engagement

Plan, coordinate and execute the organization’s bi-annual global engagement survey.

Analyze survey results to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.

Track progress and measure the impact of engagement over time.

Implement regular pulse surveys in between engagement survey to gather ongoing feedback.

Analyze pulse survey data to identify real-time employee sentiment and concerns

Develop tools and processes to support HRBPs in engagement action planning and addressing immediate issues to drive timely improvements.

Talent Assessment

Develop and implement a comprehensive talent assessment strategy aligned with GPI’s goals and talent needs.

Collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to understand talent requirements and create assessment frameworks.

Select, customize, or design appropriate assessment tools to evaluate various dimensions of talent including skills and competencies.

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in talent assessment.

Manager Development

Develop manager communications that emphasize employee development as a part of their role.

Design and deliver manager training sessions on the 70/20/10 development model.

Educate managers on effective strategies for employee growth through on-the-job experience and interactions specifically

Provide ongoing support and resources to ensure successful application of the method.

Project Management

Support and drive the Talent strategy through the influencing of key stakeholders, Global COE teams, local HRBPs and local leadership teams.

Ensure that organization-wide talent management initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational efficiencies and effectiveness.

Develop KPIs to track & measure successes.

Manage talent management products, programs and services with detailed integrated work plans for each project.

Create effective communication plans and materials to ensure full participation and engagement on all initiatives.

Drive project delivery by owning and chairing project team meetings; building and leading cross functional / geographical dispersed teams to deliver on common goals

Support the implementation of any new talent programs, systems, and initiatives

Manage talent vendors, invoicing and related support

Required Skills

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE: • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in talent management, employee engagement, performance management and talent assessment • Minimum of 1-3 years of Project Management experience • Experience within a Fortune 500 Company preferred.

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE: • bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field

SKILLS: • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously • Proficiency in delivering training and facilitating workshops • Knowledge of talent development strategies, including the 70/20/20 model • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams • Strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate data into actionable insights • Ability to drive change and lead initiatives to a successful outcome • Global and cultural awareness to cater to a diverse workforce • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

SCHEDULE DEMANDS: • Three days onsite weekly • General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so • Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours • Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs. • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
